It is the mission of the Michigan Youth Athletic Association to help the youth of our communities develop and grow through athletic competition.  We believe every member of our community shall be afforded the opportunity to learn life's lessons through teamwork, education and athletic competition. This is only accomplished through strong, well-run organizations at the local level.  It is the primary goal of the MYAA to offer the resources necessary to accomplish this goal.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and co-founder of the MYAA, Paul Seewald.
His efforts and ideas were the driving force behind the Michigan Youth Athletic Association as many coaches, administrators, players, and parents benefited because of Paul.

Paul sacrificed a great part of his life to youth sports serving as the LJAL Director, through coaching, and the President/Co-Founder of the MYAA. His dedication to the MYAA made these possible: Champ Camps, Lineman Schools, Youth Football Coaches Clinics, Youth Football Summits, 4-Way Food Drives, and consulting for various teams and leagues.

Paul’s passion for improving lives through youth sports was a catalyst for not only the MYAA, but for many others that followed by example. We will do our best to make you proud. God Bless you Paul and your family.

Miss you my friend,
Brad
