Strong kids and strong organizations lead to strong communities!

Mission Statement - It is the mission of the Michigan Youth Athletic Association to help the youth of our communities develop and grow through athletic competition.  We believe the youth of our community should be afforded the opportunity to learn life’s lessons through teamwork, dedication and hard work which athletic competition brings.  This is only accomplished through strong, well-run organizations.  It is the primary goal of the MYAA to offer the resources necessary to accomplish this goal.

Who We Are:  The MYAA is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of youth athletic programs in the State of Michigan.  Success does not mean wins and losses alone, but how well you teach and train young athletes to better prepare themselves for the challenges that lie ahead as they grow.  The MYAA wants to educate coaches and young athletes on the importance of developing a strong mind and body on and off the field.

We believe the positive influence coaches have on young athletes is enormous.  We want to provide youth organizations with the tools to run successful programs and train coaches in proper techniques and philosophies on how to be successful.  There is nothing more important than positively impacting the life of a young person.

Young athletes will benefit from the many camps and clinics offered by the MYAA. Our camp personnel are dedicated to our mission. The Michigan Youth Athletic Association believes the success on and off the field of our young athletes will pay great dividends for our future. Success in the classroom, dedication to a strong mind and body through health and nutrition, and an inner drive that competition brings is the heart and soul of the next generation of leaders.
