The 5th Annual MYAA Champ Camp (Session #2 is 6th, 7th, 8th, and incoming 9th graders). All positions, full staff including QB specialist Rich Popp. This is an OPEN camp, not specific to any program or team.
CAMP FEATURES AND GOALS: Our non-contact camp will emphasiz...e individual and team football skill development. Campers will participate in fundamental drills, lectures on self-discipline and mental preparation. We will focus on the physical/mental aspects of the game that will prepare them for on and off the field. All instruction will be in a positive, encouraging atmosphere.
EVERY POSITION ON OFFENSE, DEFENSE, AND SPECIAL TEAMS WILL BE TAUGHT FOR YOUR SON TO CHOOSE. (All players will be rotated through Special Teams) QB Specialist Rich Popp/staff from POPPS QB Tutor will be instructing QB’s as well as a full MYAA Staff for each position.
PARENTS OR NON-CAMP PARTICIPANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD (Safety of the Camp)
-Instructors are coaches from local High School, Youth teams as well as Grad Assistants from local programs.
-Combine Style testing
-Offense, Defense, and Special Teams will be taught
-Non-contact drills that are position specific
-Non peanut based snacks given during break
WHAT TO BRING: -Bring Football cleats, gym shoes, T-shirt, gym shorts
(FREE T-SHIRT GIVEN ON FIRST DAY)
-Water provided (We also encourage players to bring their own water as well)
*DO NOT BRING HELMETS OR EQUIPMENT!
-Do not bring any valuables, jewelry, hats, or cell phones. The Camp is not responsible for lost items.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN HEALTH INSURANCE!
